Objectives and tasks
The main aims and objectives of the Saudi Neonatal Resuscitation Program is to improve and maintain the practice of neonatal resuscitation based on the best available evidence-based practices through the following:
- Approve, supervise and control all National Police stations (governmental and private) throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
- To develop a comprehensive accreditation process by which the Saudi Neonatal Resuscitation Program will be recognized as an accredited training center
- To standardize Saudi neonatal resuscitation program guidelines and correct clinical practice
- To conduct a periodic assessment of certification and re-certification by the Transitional National Council throughout the Kingdom in accordance with the latest international recommendations
- To ensure the implementation of Saudi neonatal resuscitation programs in accordance with the latest international recommendations and guidelines
- To organize lectures, conferences, training courses and workshops for neonatal resuscitation throughout the Kingdom
- Establishing a database of Saudi centers for the neonatal resuscitation program and the Saudi neonatal resuscitation program for health care workers
